Dear Friend:
Over 3,330 years ago, the children of Israel stood as one nation at the foot of Mount Sinai and received the Torah from Hashem. Each year on the holiday of Shavuot, this historic event is re-lived as the Ten Commandments are read from the Torah.
At Mount Sinai, every man, woman and child, even infants was present for the "marriage" between Hashem and the Jewish people.
As such, it is an important custom for every single person to be present for the "rededication" of the covenant between us and Hashem, the reading of the Ten Commandments.
At Chabad of Brentwood, we offer many events for your entire family to celebrate with us.
Please join us at one of our Ten commandments readings and famous Dairy Kiddush.
You can find more information about the holiday and our programming below.
Blessings for Kabalat Hatorah besimcha Ubepnimiut. May we hear the Torah read by Moshiach himself at the Bait Hamikdash NOW! MAMOSH!
Wishing you a happy Shavuot!
